"Stray" - Textbook p. 22-29
1) Review the vocabulary on p. 22 of the textbook before reading the story, "Stray".
2) Read "Stray" on p. 23-28 (including author info and background for the story).
3) Using your STICKY NOTES, write your answers to the questions found in the margins of each story page. For example, on p. 25 there is a "Making Predictions" question, a "plot" question, and a "reading check" question (see sample sticky note photo). Be sure to note the page number on the stick note and which question you are answering.
In your RED NOTEBOOOK, complete the following:
P. 28 Critical thinking questions # 1, 2, 3b, 5
P. 29 Plot questions #2-3
Keep your notebook organized by progressing to the next clean page to begin a series of pages for the story, "Stray". Do not skip around the notebook (see sample photos of how to set-up your question pages).
*Be prepared to discuss answers during the next Zoom meeting. I will use a random name picker to call on students.
