Laura and her siblings all attended HFRS and they all have many favorite memories! From the wonderful teachers and staff, seeing their mom during the school day, attending school with siblings and cousins, the Kindergarten letter person parade, mass and leadership opportunities, Girl Scouts, First Communion, the one room school house experience, 5th grade camp, playing in the band, create a country, the annual Christmas Mass, the 8th Grade Choir and Play, Laura says so many great experiences come to mind when she thinks about her time spent at Holy Family.
Laura graduated from Wayne State University with a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and has a wonderful job with Rochester Schools for the past 11 years. Laura and her husband Joe have two beautiful children. Norah is in first grade at HFRS and Roman will start kindergarten at HFRS in the Fall. Laura said “Holy Family gave me a solid faith foundation, provided a rigorous academic curriculum that supported my higher education, and created lifelong friendships (even a marriage in our family of two HFRS Alum :)) I’m grateful to provide the same opportunity and experience that I loved so much, to my own children.” We’re thrilled to have Laura and her family at Holy Family, the bonds made here are very strong and run deep!
