Sara has several memories from her time at HFRS. She cherishes the memories of fifth grade camp, Cedar Point, and the eighth-grade plays. She remembers how much fun it was to go sledding down the hill after a winter snow fall and said It was a blessing to have Sister Karen lead the eighth- grade choir.
Sara has been teaching in schools throughout the AOD for the last twelve years. She has taught at St. Mary in Royal Oak, St. Regis and we are very proud to have Sara teaching sixth and seventh grade English at Holy Family.
Sara shared the many ways HFRS has impacted her life. Sister Karen inspired her to become an educator through her devotion to God and her students. Being a part of the HFRS community has allowed her to grow in both faith and academics and she will forever be grateful for the education she received at HFRS! We love having Sara and her family at HFRS. This year Sara’s Mom, Jane, took a position as a teacher’s assistant in second grade at our North Campus. Just goes to show no matter how much time passes, Holy Family remains with you one way or another!
