It was a great Hispanic week at HFRS! We had the chance to practice our Spanish every day in announcements, prayer, blessing of the food and in mass. We also learned about Hispanic Culture and some traditions like the Mariachi. The students learned about the instruments the Mariachi plays, the kind of music, number of musicians and their vestment. Fifth graders make guacamole, middle school students played "Loteria" aka bingo, had fun taking pictures at the photo booth and made quesadillas. Today we had the opportunity to sing and dance with a Mariachi band, it was a great experience for everybody. Feliz fin de semana!!
