Welcome to the KinderFish!

Hello and welcome to the KinderFish classroom!  I have been teaching kindergarten at HFRS since 2016.  Prior to teaching at Holy Family, I taught preschool and prekindergarten at St. Mary Catholic School in Royal Oak and Great Start Readiness Program prekindergarten in Utica.  I feel blessed to be a teacher and a parent at Holy Family.  I have three children who attend Holy Family and a freshman in high school.  My husband, Kevin, and I enjoy being active in the HFRS community!

I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a major and endorsement in Early Childhood Education from the University of Michigan-Flint.  I also have endorsements in Language Arts and Social Studies.  I received my Master of Arts in Teaching and Curriculum with a concentration in Language and Literacy Instruction from Michigan State University.  I am passionate about meeting young children where they are at and helping them to grow spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally.  I am excited to get to know your child as an individual and support them in our classroom community of learners.  I invite you to partner with me on this kindergarten journey!
