Welcome to Miss Krol's 1st Grade!

I am very excited for my third year of teaching at Holy Family!  I am committed to helping your child learn in a fun and friendly environment. I realize that certain students have different learning styles and will give special attention to make sure your child has the best opportunity to learn.

I have been in Catholic schools most of my life, from St. Hugo for elementary to Marian for high school, followed by Jesuit universities. Before Holy Family, I taught kindergarten and second grade at St. Anne for five years. I received my undergraduate degree in psychology from Loyola University Chicago, followed by my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Detroit Mercy.  In 2014, I was asked to be a member of the Archdiocese of Detroit’s Virtue Project Committee and have assisted with the development of the new Religion Curriculum for the Archdiocese. I am still an active member and implement many of the ideas into my lesson plans.

My goal is to help your child grow in knowledge, social settings, and most importantly in the faith. Feel free to come check out your child’s learning environment before or after school…I’m sure they’ll love to show you! 😊
