Welcome to Miss Krol's 1st Grade!
I am truly honored to be teaching 1st grade for my fourth year at Holy Family! I am committed to providing a fun and friendly environment where every child feels welcome. The smiles on my students' faces make teaching the most wonderful experience I could ever imagine!
I have been blessed to attend Catholic schools for most of my life, from St. Hugo for elementary school to Marian for high school, followed by Jesuit universities. I received my undergraduate degree in psychology from Loyola University Chicago, followed by my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Detroit Mercy. Before coming to Holy Family, I taught Kindergarten for two years and 2nd grade for three years at St. Anne. I am passionate about helping children grow in their faith while mastering the fundamental academics and behaviors appropriate for their age level.
As a teacher, I am able to share knowledge, creativity, and the importance of strong morals and values. My goal is to continue to enrich the lives of my students with the gift of Catholic education and the pure joy of learning! Feel free to stop by the classroom anytime to see all the exciting things happening in 1st grade! 😊
